Rolled from a pre-cut blank of the correct length to achieve the length of the finished component all dimensions are tightly controlled i.e. length, width and profile dimensions. There is no cutting of circles, no welding and expanding of rings to achieve desired radius and no trimming after forming to achieve profile dimension criteria.
